From visiting bands on campus to concerts, gigs and festivals in nearby towns and cities, if music is your thing then there's plenty to enjoy while you're at university.
Royal Holloway's music highlight of the year is the Summer Ball, held in the grounds of our magnificent Founder's Building, with recent line-ups including Ella Eyre, Mabel, Rudimental, Example and Stormzy. But there's plenty to enjoy off campus too, with live music, open-mic nights and nightclubs in local towns like Egham, Staines, Richmond and Windsor, and all the musical entertainment you could wish for just a train ride away in the capital.
Here are some ideas for live music at Royal Holloway and beyond:
- Regular themed nights at our Students’ Union
- Royal Holloway Summer Ball
- Reading Festival
- Nightclubs in Kingston, Reading and London
- Live music in London venues including Wembley Stadium, the Royal Albert Hall, the O2 and the SSE Arena, Wembley
