The academic year 2022-23 brings some exciting changes for Social Work, now part of the Department of Law and Criminology.
We are now part of the Department of Law and Criminology within Royal Holloway's School of Law and Social Sciences. This provides a close-knit, innovative and supportive learning environment for students wishing to study with a relatively small cohort, but within a wider diverse and vibrant community dedicated to criminal and social justice.
The merger brings together many exceptionally talented people of different backgrounds, interests, experiences, methodologies and perspectives in a subject mix which is stimulating and special in legal and social science education.
Our inter-disciplinary school offers a number of undergraduate degrees in Law, Criminology and Sociology, Social Science, Criminology and Psychology, Economics, Politics and International Relations and Philosophy in addition to Masters degrees in Forensic Psychology, Social Work, Advanced Practice In Social Work, Terrorism and Counter-Terrorism and Policing and Criminal Justice Policy, as well as Economics and Politics related degrees.
