Between Friday 14th September and Sunday 16th September over 100 academics from across the globe visited Royal Holloway to participate at the Elections, Public Opinion and Parties (EPOP) Conference 2018.

The conference -- organised by Professor Oliver Heath and Dr Kaat Smets -- featured panels on traditional concerns (political recruitment, participation and policy preferences) alongside more focused panels on austerity and Brexit and vote choice.

The key note address on the Friday was given by Sir John Curtice, who spoke on the future of voting studies in Britain.

On Saturday, conference attendees assisted at a round-table event, chaired by Dr Nick Allen, which discussed the aftermath of the 2017 election.
