The Department of Law and Criminology at Royal Holloway, University of London is looking for new highly-qualified and forward-thinking professionals to join our team!
The Department of Law and Criminology is part of the School of Law and Social Sciences, alongside the Departments of Economics, Politics and International Relations, Philosophy, and Social Work. The Department of Law and Criminology is looking to hire on a permanent basis three more colleagues to join our team:
- A lecturer in law (teaching focussed);
- Two more lecturers in law (teaching focused), for a fixed term;
- Two lecturers in law (teaching and research);
- A senior lecturer in law (teaching focussed).
For the SL position, we are particularly keen on hearing from candidates with teaching expertise in Public Law, Criminal Law and Law of Tort. For all positions, we are keen to develop our teaching portfolio in Family Law, Law of Evidence, Public International Law and Jurisprudence.
SL candidates should be able to contribute to both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including the supervision of doctoral students and the development of specialist options to reflect specific areas of expertise. For the research-focused position, we would like to hear from candidates whose research is aligned to the College’s research catalysts (Living Sustainably, Transformative Digital Technologies, Security and Society and Digital Futures in the Creative and Cultural Industries).
Each of the positions include teaching undergraduate core subjects, and we are interested in candidates with teaching expertise in any core subject.
