The Outstanding Community Action Volunteer (Internal) is awarded to a student or group of students that have engaged with one of Royal Holloway Volunteering's internal community partners.

Prof. Tracy Bhamra, Senior Vice- Principal for Student and Staff Experience at Royal Holloway, University of London, has awarded in a virtual ceremony the Royal Holloway Volunteering Awards 2021. This year, one of the prizes was won by the volunteers at the Legal Advice Centre, directed by Nicola Antoniou (Senior Lecturer at Royal Holloway, University of London).

In particular, the volunteers as the Legal Advice Centre won in the category “Outstanding Community Action Volunteer (Internal)”. Such prize is awarded to a student or group of students that have engaged with one of Royal Holloway Volunteering's internal community partners.

The volunteers at the Legal Advice Centre were warded for their work of delivering remote free legal advice and information services to the local community, especially in like of the increase in the number of requests for legal support caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
