Royal Holloway forms new partnership with the Institute for Peace and Conflict Studies

Royal Holloway, University of London has concluded a Memorandum of Understanding with the Institute for Peace and Conflict Studies, University of Hargeisa to forge a new partnership.

The IPCS was founded in 2008 to provide a multidisciplinary approach to understand and address conflict and violence in the Horn of Africa. The IPCS forms part of the University of Hargeisa, the largest public university in Somaliland.

Dr Alexander Gilder and Nicola Antoniou will begin a new project with the IPCS as part of the Legal Advice Centre, in collaboration with Royal Holloway’s Centre for International Security.

By concluding this partnership, Royal Holloway and the IPCS will be engaging in activities which promote and enhance teaching, and other collaborative research related activities, for the mutual benefit of both institutions. This agreement will take effect from 1 January 2021 for an initial period of 5 years.
