Mashuq's talk, entitled “Epistemologies of Resistance and Visual Anthropology", was part of the contemporary art and literary exhibition “QUT / Tout commence par une interruption”, which aims to focus on the politics of daily life that reasserts itself through different objects, ways of living and repertoires of resistance.

The main objective of this exhibition and series of talks is to understand the tension between periphery and epicenter and its grey . The works presented in this exhibition and the readings that inform this reality, are attempts to reconcile the self with the collective, without creating a transitory space, rather through a merged space.

The curator, Bilal Ata Aktaş, wrote that “Mashuq's photographs are a testament to his unique artistic vision and his ability to capture the subtle nuances of everyday life. With a keen eye for detail, Mashuq skillfully presents the transitions between day and night, practical and spiritual life, and the public and private spheres. By scrutinizing the minutiae of everyday life through the lenses of photography and literature, he encourages us to see the world in a new light.  Mashuq's work is not just about capturing a moment in time, but about capturing the essence of human experience. His photographs are a reflection of the complexities and contradictions of life, and a testament to the power of art to transform the way we see the world.”
