The 10-day course explores the increasingly relevant intersection of international human rights and conflict. Dr Gilder will be focusing on international human rights sources and systems, the African Court of Human and Peoples' Rights, the Women, Peace and Security Agenda, human rights in UN peacekeeping and much more.

Dr Gilder is especially looking forward to engaging with the students in Somaliland who will be able to offer unique reflections on human rights and conflict in both an emerging state and the Horn of Africa.
