Our community spreads beyond the walls of Royal Holloway through our research, teaching and public engagement.
We have strong ties with our local community, regional research centres and national museums. We also believe our community extends to our alumni, future students and their teachers in Higher Education. Our students go on to work in all sorts of exciting fields and we love to keep working with them; whether that is to develop collaborations, learning resources for schools or support further study.
As Historians we believe our work is relevant to today's society and we have a duty to impart our work to the public. Our staff regularly comment on current issues through the press and other media outlets and are keen to have the results of our research heard.
If you teach or are studying History you might find our HistoryHub useful, here we can provide links to resources created as part of our award winning Citizen800 project to support Key Stage 4 curricula.
We love to encourage young people to keep studying History and to engage in our research. A Taste of Studying History provides links to what we provide in terms of school talks or visiting us here at Royal Holloway.
