Robert Hampson has written the introduction to a new Ukrainian edition of Conrad's works, and will give a lecture on 19th December in Kiev to commemorate the first volume of the publication.
Professor Hampson is recognised as an international expert on Joseph Conrad, not least in the Ukraine, the country of Conrad's birth. Professor Hampson wrote the introduction to a new Ukrainian edition of Conrad's works, 'From Master Mariner to Modernist Master,' and will give a lecture entitled ‘Joseph Conrad: Modernism, Ideology and Power’ on 19th December at the University of Kiev to commemorate the launch of the first volume.
