With great excitement, we say WELCOME to Dr Onyema Nduka, who joins our department as a Lecturer in Power Sustainability.
Onyema will be teaching and conducting research in sustainability in the context of electricity generation and distribution. His technical interests include decarbonisation, decentralisation, and digitisation of modern power systems with strong interests in developing computational tools to facilitate the adoption of renewable energy sources (such as solar photovoltaics) and low-carbon technologies (electric vehicles and energy storage systems). Onyema is currently active in leveraging big data analytics for planning and operations of intelligent power grids.
He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering and MSc in Control Systems from Imperial College London and he was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Imperial College London.
