Why did you choose to study Economics at Royal Holloway?

I was initially attracted to Royal Holloway for Economics because of their support for students who had not done Maths A level, which was something I found that could have prohibited me from excelling at other universities. Also, seeing the wide range of the Economics course itself piqued my interest as there are many areas I enjoy about Economics.

What was your personal experience of the environment at Royal Holloway?

I found the Royal Holloway environment to be extremely supportive. All the professors that have taught me have been accommodating and allowed me to flourish in both my sport and education. Beyond the education side, my welfare has always been prioritised, during times of high stress I know I can always rely on the Royal Holloway community. I have gained so much from being a part of Royal Holloway and their endless support has benefited my career tremendously.

What are some of your recent achievements that you are proud of?

Last season, I got a U23 World Championship Bronze medal and an U23  European Championship Bronze medal which are by far my greatest achievements thus far.

What goals are you are currently working towards?

I am hoping to represent GB at Senior Level this season and put in some more good performances. From this I hope I will be selected for the Paris 2024 Olympic team.
