Eugénie Pastor - a recent graduate of our doctoral programme - has won critical acclaim for a number of her recent performances. Eugénie is Associate Artist at award-winning company Little Bulb Theatre, with whom she has been making and performing work for the past eight years, including Operation Greenfield and Squally Showers.
The company recently took its show Orpheus, commissioned by Battersea Arts Centre, to the Brisbane Festival (in September 2017), where it was very warmly received.
Eugénie is also one half of She Goat, a company she created with fellow Little Bulb artist Shamira Turner. They premiered their first show, DoppelDänger, at Battersea Arts Centre in October 2017. DoppelDänger is a part-theatre part-gig, surreal and playful exploration of ‘the Doppelgänger’ devised and performed by a pair of real life doppelgängers. The piece will tour in the UK in 2018.
As a solo artist, Eugénie recently created Pube, a one-on-one performance that explores our relationship with pubic hair. The project was presented at Camden People's Theatre, Folkestone Quarterhouse and Southbank Centre as part of Women of the World festival.
Eugénie is also a part-time lecturer in Drama and Performance at London South Bank University.
