He served as Head of Computer Science between 1996 and 2002, and as Vice-Rector between 2013 and 2017. During his visit, Fernando will deliver a series of lectures on the theory and practice of graph transformations, an algebraic development technique of which he is one of the founders. The lectures will be organised as a school, which will take place at Royal Holloway between June 30 and July 1 – programme and registration are available here.

Fernando will be collaborating with us in the development of an algebraic semantics and logic that support the specification and verification of cyber-physical systems based on Robin Milner’s bigraphs.
