Co-editors Zena KamashLeen Van Broeck (RHUL research associate, PhD alumna & TORCH) and Katy Soar (RHUL visiting lecturer & Winchester) will shortly publish a ground-breaking collection, ‘Comics and Archaeology’ (Palgrave MacMillan). As a part of the fantastic 'Studies in Comics and Graphic Novels' series, Comics and Archaeology explores how comics transmit and shape our understanding of the past, modern society, and politics - sometimes in damaging ways. The volume approaches these questions from an archaeological perspective, foregrounding the representation and narrative use of material cultures.
