The NUAA-School of Business and Management agreement has been awarded a Chinese Scholarship Council scholarship.

NUAA, with whom the School has an MOU for research collaboration and a Dual Masters programme agreement, have just announced that they have been awarded funding by the Chinese Scholarship Council (CSC) under their prestigious "Innovative Talent Cultivation Programme" to support student and staff visits to Royal Holloway.

The scholarship from CSC (which will be administered by NUAA) will cover living expenses, visa fees and airfare for 5 students per year to study one of the PGT programmes offered by the School of Business and Management.

The scholarship will also cover living costs, visa fees, airfare, and bench fee for up to 3 PhD students and up to 2 Early Career Researchers per year to visit the School of Business and Management for a year. This scholarship programme will run for a total period of 3 years.

NUAA is a leading research-intensive Chinese university. It is among the first batch of national Chinese universities entitled to award doctoral degrees and has been enlisted as a ‘Double first-class disciplines university’ in recognition of its standing in China. Royal Holloway and NUAA signed an MOU in 2020 to explore collaboration in research and teaching, where the School of Business & Management and NUAA’s College of Economics and Management have mutual interests.

CSC’s recognition of the NUAA-Royal Holloway partnership will further strengthen the partnership between the two universities. The School will welcome the first cohort of NUAA students to Royal Holloway in September 2021.
