Schools Biodiversity Project

The Schools Biodiversity Project works with schools to help them to make the most of their green spaces. This includes light boxes to monitor moths, teaching pupils to pond dip and even using camera traps to see what mammals make their way to school after dark. Prof Alan Gange and Dr Deborah Harvey work with schools to help them work what they can do to improve their biodiversity as well as provide support to implement the projects. When needed, they are paired with trained undergraduate students to help run purpose-written and curriculum-linked projects.

More information about getting involved in the project is available at schoolsbiodiversityproject.com. Follow us on Twitter and Instagram: @SchoolsBioBoost
