Celebrating our graduating scholars

Celebrating our graduating scholars

  • Date20 December 2019

Each December campus fills with family and friends coming to celebrate with our graduating masters students and scholars.

Scholarships are usually awarded based on academic excellence and need, and see philanthropically minded alumni and supporters help to fund tuition fees or living costs. We know the life-changing difference a scholarship can make to a bright student but seeing their final celebratory moment after a year of hard work, and hearing about their experiences and what they plan to do next is special for us all.

Joanna (MSc International Management and Marketing) said “The best thing about my course is that it pushed me to my boundaries and enabled me to discover I could do things I didn’t know I could. It feels amazing to graduate – all the hard work has paid off and I’m excited to start my job at a digital marketing consultancy in January!”

Cailee (MA Holocaust Studies) concurred “I had a wonderful year at Royal Holloway. The Holocaust MA course challenged me, particularly our rousing group discussions and our commitment to pushing the interdisciplinary boundaries of the study of the Holocaust. I am now happily working at an American university. Without my scholarship, I would not have experienced an incredible year of personal, professional, and academic growth.”
