The sports and celebrations will be taking place at top class sporting venues across the region, with Royal Holloway being the hub of the Games, hosting the registration, welcome festival, and great games party, as well as several sports. Other venues include The ACS International School, Eton College, River Thames Windsor and Huntswood Golf Club to name a few.
Tracy Bhamra, Senior Vice-Principal Student and Staff Experience at Royal Holloway, added: “As one of the top sporting colleges of the University of London, we’re very excited to be hosting the UK Corporate Games on campus.
“We work hard to promote excellence and inclusivity and support the wellbeing of our staff and student community and sport is a great enabler which helps foster this.
“We are therefore very pleased to be opening up our university facilities to the wider business community and of course are strongly supporting our very own Royal Holloway teams taking part in the Games.”
Doug White, Games Director for the UK Corporate Games, said: “We have been delighted with the response from new and existing companies for the Games this year and we are sure the appeal of the location has helped us to boost our numbers.
“We have been staging the UK Corporate Games annually since 1993 and after a two-year break due to Covid, we are delighted to be back with some great new additions to the Games, including the welcome festival, which features the Grand Parade of Athletes and live music.”
The UK Corporate Games are the ultimate mix of sport, business and tourism and people will be arriving from not only the UK, but also from Israel, Turkey and Romania.
Spectators are welcome to attend, so why not come along and cheer on the participants and competing businesses.
