Royal Holloway graduates enjoy salary success across diverse sectors

Data from the Department of Education on post-study salaries has shown Royal Holloway, University of London graduates outperform Russell Group contemporaries, and also earn more than graduates from other London institutions, across a range of disciplines.

The Longitudinal Education Outcomes report assesses employment and earnings outcomes in the tax year 2014/15 for those who graduated with a UK undergraduate degree between 2008-2013.

The data found that Royal Holloway graduates earn nearly £2,000 more than graduates from other London institutions’ average, putting them in the top 20% in the sector nationwide.

Great rewards from Computer Sciences to Creative Arts

In particular, Royal Holloway graduates in the following areas earn highly in comparison to peers from other universities. This data refers to salaries five years after graduation. 

English

The 7th highest earning graduates in the subject, Royal Holloway English graduates earn an average of £27,800 in comparison to the sector average of £22,967.

Computer Sciences

Graduates from Computer Sciences at Royal Holloway are the 8th best paid in the sector. Earning £40,000 on average, this is over £10,000 more than the average graduate in this discipline, and nearly £9,000 more than the London average.

Mathematics

At 9th in the sector, Mathematics graduates at Royal Holloway earn over £7,800 more than their peers in the UK, with an average salary of £38,900.

Creative Arts

Those graduating in Creative Arts from Royal Holloway can expect to earn over £4,000 more than the sector average, placing them in the top 11% of earners in this area.
