Reaching a wider audience

Rupert Gough, Director of Choral Music at Royal Holloway, said: “The choir has really enjoyed working with Ola Gjeilo and the recording team from Abbey Road Studios. It has been great to see Ola’s music grow in popularity in the UK and USA over the past few years and we jumped at the chance to make a second album with him and Decca Classics. We are looking forward to the choir’s music reaching a wider audience.”

The Choir of Royal Holloway is considered one of the finest mixed-voice collegiate choirs in the UK and this is a fantastic opportunity to hear them work with Ola Gjeilo, one of the most frequently performed composers in the choral world.

A preview of Winter Songs can be heard on YouTube and people can pre-order and download copies online.
