The university is encouraging all students living in the local community to follow its ‘Be a Good Neighbour’ guidelines which remind students about their continued responsibilities as members of the community. A flyer is delivered to each household during September linking to the university’s digital Be a Good Neighbour Guide.
For the new term, Royal Holloway, along with its community partners including the Runnymede Safer Neighbourhood Police team, Runnymede Borough Council Environmental Health and the Royal Holloway Students’ Union, have collaborated to launch a new video called Welcome to the Community. The video will help to inform students joining Royal Holloway, as well as current students, of the importance of their role as part of the local community. It aims to build a sense of belonging and local community responsibility whilst offering helpful tips and advice, such as encouraging students to introduce themselves to their neighbours.
