Associate Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Inclusive Learning & Teaching)

Dr Vicky Greenaway from the Department of English, has been appointed as Associate Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Inclusive Learning and Teaching) and will be starting in position from 1 April 2024.

Vicky joined Royal Holloway as a Lecturer in Nineteenth-Century Literature in September 2008. Prior to that, she completed her MA studies, PhD and Post-Doctoral Fellowship here. Vicky has served as Vice-Dean Education and Student Experience for the School of Humanities since February 2023 and leads the Royal Holloway Big Read and other important work on student transition.

As Associate Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Inclusive Learning and Teaching), Vicky will work in close partnership with the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education and Student Experience), the Vice-Deans (Education and Student Experience and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion), and the Student Journey Directorate. Together, they will work to foster an ambitious, confident outward-looking community of educators, who champion inclusivity and a sense of belonging through the curriculum, as well as acquisition of graduate and digital skills. This will in turn create opportunities to connect our research strengths to our education practice as well as ensuring that our curriculum maintains its currency with industry and employers.
