COP28 Film Challenge

COP28 Film Challenge

The Media Arts Cop 28 Film Challenge invited students from across the university to create short films about the climate emergency.

Sophie Goska and Daisy Lee emerged as the ultimate winners for their stop-motion animation film 'Leonard the Leaf Man,' depicting a heartwarming tale of inter-species friendship between a bird and a leaf.

The main prize was awarded by Pat McEnallay of Greenkit, a long-time champion of sustainable lighting design for filmmakers. The event was organised by Maeve O’Connell (Teaching Fellow in Media Arts) and supported by the Living Sustainably Catalyst.
